There is something very quaint about a bungalow. You can usually identify the older sections of a town by where the bungalows are located.

My first house was a 1910 craftsman bungalow with a slightly different roof style. It had elephant-leg columns at each end of the huge front porch and because of the roof style the 2nd storey was about 3/4 usable. My daughter's bedroom had a walk-in closet under the eaves and she used to play in it. We painted clouds on the ceiling and put glow-in-the-dark stars so she could have day and night experience in there. It might have been my favorite "room" in the house! Thanks for the memories.

Though we are not living in a bungalow, I like seeing it because it feels very homy. great resource for designing and decorating bungalow houses.

Your bungalow looks lovely from the outside. My grandmother lived in a bungalow in Cleveland for many many years. It was a 2 BR/1 BA -- they raised the room in the backyard to make a dormer that she rented out for extra income.

This is a great lens. Living in Long Beach, CA, I'm surrounded by lots of bungalows but not many local resources. I have a few of the books you've mentioned, but there's a lot more here than I expected. Thanks for providing this resource.
