Burberry Perfume will launch their next feminine fragrance,
The Beat, in March 2008.

The
Beat by Burberry will be an Eau de Parfum, and will be available in 30,
50 and 75 ml or 40 ml Elixir Parfum. Matching body products will also

To create the right mood,
perfumers Dominique Ropion, Olivier Polge and Beatrice Piquet were
given music by Kasabian, Dirty Pretty Things, Razorlight, the Arctic
Monkeys and The Fratellis.

The end result is a "sparkling
floral woody juice with a typically British feel" centered on Ceylon
tea, iris and bluebell. Additional notes include bergamot, cardamom,
pink pepper, mandarin, white musk, vetiver and cedarwood.

great to wear for any occasion although I think it works really well on
a sunny day as it's a light fragrance that just sits nicely in the
background and never becomes too overpowering. My only complaint is
that the smell doesn't last as long as some of my other perfume so it
does tend to go quicker than the rest as you use more to try and make
the scent last longer!
