A Bob Can be Made without Cutting Your Style!
If you want to try a fun and flirty style, but you are unsure if you want to cut your hair, you can try a great curly Bob Hairstyle, by some ingenuity! The recent fun movie like Burlesque, and the Boardwalk Series on HBO, has sparked some interest in the vintage and retro hair shown on these great dramas. The small amount of time you can put into doing your own hair, can really boost your mood in so many ways!
I believe if you look good to yourself and those you love, you are going to feel like you are on a vacation! If you have a special occasion coming up, or you just want to try something fun and exciting, why not just get out those hot rollers, and give this hair style a try? It can improve your mood, and I do believe how you see the world from there!
I believe if you look good to yourself and those you love, you are going to feel like you are on a vacation! If you have a special occasion coming up, or you just want to try something fun and exciting, why not just get out those hot rollers, and give this hair style a try? It can improve your mood, and I do believe how you see the world from there!
Here is How to do this Bob Style!
1. Small Hot Rollers with Clips, around 20!
2. Thermal Hot Roller Spray
3. Bobby pins
4. Hair Spray
5. Wide Comb or Brush
6. Pomade
Make sure you are working with clean dry hair, and that it was sprayed with thermal spray to start. Then, heat up your hot rollers, and create a section part on one side of your head. The rollers will then be sectioned by this part. You should roll them in on the front by going down in the direction of the hair fall. The back should not be curled on the scalp, but just on the bottom of your hair. If your hair is very long, use bigger rollers underneath, but get all of your locks into rollers, all going down in the rolled direction.
Once the rollers have done their job, remove them slowly, and one by one. Start at the back and the bottom, and wait to work on the top. Use a wide comb to keep each section separate, and frizz free. Do not try to brush all the sections together, or you will have a giant hairy curly mess!
A great thing to try to keep your shine on your curls and keep them looking soft and remove frizz, is to apply some pomade to your hands, and use this soft finisher to keep your unraveled curls clean and shiny. Do not remove your sections as you go.
When you are working with your longer sections in the back, you will want to bring them up, and then loosely drop them down. This will give you weight and volume in your bob. These sections should all be up and down at the same length, and this creates the shorter look. Be sure to pin these sections one at a time, with an X of two bobby pins, and then let the curls fall over your bobby pins.
The top sections can then fall over your longer back sections, and be sprayed in place. If you need to position any of these curls, be sure to use a X bobby pin, and let the shorter curls flow over any pins. The style is now in place, and you should use your spray to set everything. If you like this style, and find it very appealing, you can think about getting your hair cut, but the length does add to the volume of the style.
This style can be easily saved for a few days with a silk pillowcase, and a tight hairnet. See if you can remove your style and reset it without destroying the curls too much! Have fun with your short curls!

If you want a fun straight short style but don't want to cut your hair...
Try a fun wig!
A shorter wig does not have to be colored in a different way from your hair now, and in fact, the extensions of the hair industry, are often starters from a scalp wig, or full head of wonderfully manageable hair to support your new look. Find a sophisticated and lovely look with just a simple transition that makes your look new and very chic. The gentle waves of your look can be achieved with a straight styled wig, and a very hot hair straightener as a curler. The only fallback, is that the curls may then be permanent, so be very certain that you use caution.
Some wigs for a test trial!
A great set of rollers can really make this work
Or a very hot iron as well!
I use the steam rollers by Caruso, and they are great for many reasons, but mostly because they use steam to heat and set the curl. The only big problem with the steam rollers by Caruso is you must use distilled water, as if you have any calcium or hard minerals in your water, they steam feature on the mechanism will clog closed. If this happens, use distilled water, as it has no minerals, and add a little vinegar to the pot. The vinegar will move the minerals free, and then you can dump the water vinegar combination and use just water to heat your rollers.
The T3 line of rollers, flat irons and blowers are investment pieces, but will make your style set. The best thing about using a hot roller set from them, is the rollers really work. You may be inclined to wear your hair down if you roll them with these rollers, instead of the pinned style I feature here. But be sure to pin your long hair up, and use the curl to find the fun in a short bob style with so much volume! The pinned style is so much more than the long layered looks of today, as it really looks natural and beautiful, and brings some great oomph to your day. What a day brightener!
