You see...I just tried to do the "exercise, diet, blah blah" correctly but never made an attempt to track my progress, and it ultimately caused me to go nowhere in my weight loss journey.

Don't underestimate the "belly fat burning" power of a healthy sleep schedule

One reason as to why you can't seem to burn off belly fat might be that you aren't sleeping enough or consistently. Studies have shown that those whom sleep for 7-8 hours (minimum) per night have a healthier weight and are better able to lose weight and fat. So make sure that you are getting enough sleep, and quit sneaking in those late night snacks as it is hopeless for you to burn off belly fat by eating snacks at night.
