- Definition of Requirements Analysis
- From Wikipedia...Requirements analysis, in software engineering, is a term used to describe all the tasks that go into the instigation, scoping and definition of a new or altered computer system. Requirements analysis is an important part of the software engineering process; whereby business analysts or software developers identify the needs or requirements of a client; having identified these requirements they are then in a position to design a solution.
- International Institute of Business Analysts
- The IIBA vision is to be the leading world-wide professional association that develops and maintains standards for the practice of business analysis and for the certification of practitioners.
- Catalyze Community
- Catalyze is a new member-driven community for business analysts and user experience professionals.
The goal of Catalyze is to be a "virtual watering hole" for all professionals involved in defining business systems, designing software applications or creating web sites. The target members include UX professionals (of all flavors), business analysts, interaction designers, information architects, product managers and all related professions.
Catalyze is presented in association with the Usability Professionals Association (UPA) and the International Institute of Business Analysts (IIBA). Catalyze will be guided by a group of community leaders and it will not be a marketing site for iRise or any other vendor. - RE-Online Mailing List
- The RE-online mailing list aims to act as an electronic forum for exchange of ideas among the requirements engineering researchers and practitioners. The list was created in 1995 by its manager and moderator Dr Didar Zowghi. It is currently located at the Faculty of Information Technology, University of Technology, Sydney.

- Software Engineering Body of Knowledge
- The software engineering body of knowledge is an all-inclusive term that describes the sum of knowledge within the profession of software engineering. Since it is usually not possible to put the full body of knowledge of even an emerging discipline, such as software engineering, into a single document, there is a need for a Guide to the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge. This Guide will seek to identify and describe that subset of the body of knowledge that is generally accepted, even though software engineers must be knowledgeable not only in software engineering, but also, of course, in other related disciplines.

- ACM SIGCHI, the ACM's Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction, brings together people working on the design, evaluation, implementation, and study of interactive computing systems for human use. ACM SIGCHI provides an international, interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas about the field of human-computer interaction (HCI).
- Interaction Design Institute Ivrea
- Interaction Design Institute Ivrea (Interaction-Ivrea) is an independent non-profit organisation, founded by Telecom Italia and Olivetti, and now part of the Progetto Italia initiative of Telecom Italia. Based in Milan, it offers a two-year Masters Programme in Interaction Design for participants from all over the world with prior college degrees in design, architecture, communications, computer science or psychology. Admission is based on a thorough selection process. Scholarships are available for those accepted.
