B Is For Bushbaby
Ranked #3,233 in Pets & Animals, #82,591 overall
A bushbaby is a small-sized, nocturnal monkey from Africa.
Also known by it's name of lesser Galago, these small primates got their name either based on their tiny size or from their cries, which some feel sound like human babies.Unfortunately their small size has made them into a creature desired by some as a pet. This is considered dangerous as they can carry diseases which can cross the primate-human species barrier.

Bushbabies are a type of primate, so these tiny furry creatures are related to monkeys although they look more like squirrels or cats than chimps. They range in size from cat-sized down to close to mouse-sized, and are nocturnal. They often co-exist in areas of the African rainforests where there are other primates. Another name for them is "galagos."
Due to their very small size and clinging tendencies, these small primates sometimes go through "fads" where they are trendy as pets. Be careful as many countries have restrictions about owning these types of exotic animals. But most of all, bushbabies weren't meant to be pets and they really are happier living in the wild.
What do Bushbabies eat?
A bushbaby will eat insects, lizards, birds, eggs, fruit and flowers.
