The Legacy of George W. Bush

At long last, the end is nigh for the long, horrible nightmare that most Americans have resisted waking up from.  With each passing day, more people are rubbing the sleep from their eyes and looking around griefstricken at what happened to their country during their coma-like slumber.  Pretty soon, America will no longer have to fear the dangerous and criminal policies of George W. Bush.  But when Bush finally leaves office the real work will begin.  We must not allow Bush to revise his legacy as he has revised the Constitution and history.  This lens is dedicated to reminding everyone just how truly execrable a President George W. Bush actually was.

Americans Now Have the Moral Responsibility of Forcibly Removing Bush and Cheney from Office
Congress and the Courts have abdicated their Constitutional responsibility to protect American citizens from the abuse of power in the executive branch. Thomas Paine once wrote that the difference between an oppressive government and a non-oppressive government "is wholly owing to the constitution of the people, and not to the constitution of the government."

The failure our elected representatives to carry out their appointed duties in the constitution of the government morally mandates that the citizens are now endowed with the resposibility of protecting our democracy, freedom, rights and very lives. Please join me in my call to bring democracy to America.
Bring Them On
Pres. Bush looked the Iraqi terrorists in the eye--from the safe distance of a half a world away--and said "bring them on", thereby putting the lives of every American soldier at greater risk for the length of the war. I am now looking at those who feel they have no other recourse when it comes to dealing with this madman and I am saying, "Bring them on."
We Are Now Forced in a Position Where The People Must Forcibly Remove Bush from Office
The Democrats in Congress are too spineless to impeach Bush. He's too arrogant to resign. And the Constitution makes no allowances for the removal of a mentally unbalanced President. We have no other option. The people of America must reclaim this country on our own by forcibly removing Bush from power.
Scooter Libby Authored a Paper Outlining Bush's Foreign Policy in 1992!
To look at poor, delicate Scooter Libby you would think he was nothing more than Dick Cheney's butt monkey. In fact, he co-authored a paper in 1992 that outlined exactly the kind of disastrous foreign policy mission that the Bush administration perpetrated upon the American people.
What Bush Meant When He Said Plame Leaker Would Be "Taken Care Of"
During the early days of the Valerie Plame leak, Pres. Bush told the American people that if the leaker came from the White House, he would be "taken care of." Who knew that he meant that phrase in the sense of protecting from punishment and aborting the judicial system. Oh, I guess we all knew, didn't we?
Independence Day 2007: When the President Pissed on America
Independence Day 2007 will go down in history as taking place in the week in which the President of the United States violated both the letter and the spirit of that Declaration of Independence by commuting the sentence of a crony very well could have put a ransom on the back of the back of a CIA agent.
Who has the Crazier Leader: Iranians or Americans?
Frankly, this one is a toss-up.
Putting Guns Before Butter, Mr. Bush, Often Results in the Guns Being Turned on the Man Who Supplied and Denied the Butter
Bush proves his worth once again by saying that what it costs to fund his war for a few weeks is too much to provide a year's worth of health care for kids.

Bush's Last Iraq Strategy: "Can't Somebody Else Do It?"
Bush's history keeps being repeated: Try, fail, get daddy to bail him out. Only this Bush's daddy will be the poor sap who follows him into the Oval Office and inherits the mess he made but "we" have to clean up.
The Truth About George W. Bush is Protecting Your Security
Did you know that terrorist attacks are not even in the top 15 leading causes of death in the U.S. So then why has a trillion dollar war been declare on this threat to our lives, but hardly any on finding a cure for Alzheimer's? Which is among the top 15?
Pres. Bush's Mistaken Belief That Condi Rice is the Most Powerful Woman Ever
As if you need further evidence that Bush has never once cracked open a history book, consider that he thinks Condi Rice has more power than Cleopatra, Elizabeth I or Catherine the Great. What a nin-cow-poop.
Pres. Bush: Agent Provocateur
Bush's seemingly mad decision to obliterate his own party suggests that there may be a method to his madness. Could he have been secretly working for the Democrats, or even the terrorists, all these years?
Did Bush Play Right into Osama's Hands Following 9/11?
Bush supporters are fond of pointing to a lack of another attack as evidence his means are working. I believe that Osama is smart enough to realize he never has to risk an attack again. He can just sit back and watch American ideals crumble into dust like the Twin Towers.
Congress' Low Approval Rating is Based Not on What They Have Done, But What They Haven't Done: Stopping Bush
The Bushies love to point to Congress' low approval ratings as evidence American supports Bush. What they are missing is that the low approval ratings are because Congress is rubber stamping Bush instead of holding him accountable and ending his war.
Why "We" Are Not Responsible For Cleaning Up Bush's Mess
I'm tired of hearing Bush and others say "we" must stay in Iraq because "we" created the mess. No, Bush created it. Send him and everyone else who worked for him to Iraq to clean it up.
The Cult of Bush the Messiah
Amazingly, many people believe that Bush's circuitous route to the White House in 2000 confers legitimacy upon his reign rather than illegitimacy.

Judge Who Dismissed Plame Lawsuit is a Bush Flunky
Judge John D. Bates, who dimissed Valerie Plame's lawsuit, is a Bush appointee who was part of the Whitewater prosecution and who has a fascinating history of dismissing lawsuits brought against the Bush White House.
Still Confused As To Why Bush Was Shocked by Election?
There is a good reason the White House was in shellshock the night after losing Congress. They had what they thought was a foolproof plan for hanging on. The only problem is that this time around not as many fools were casting ballots.

Keith Olbermann Demands That Bush--Not Kerry--Apologize to Troops
