Welcome to the world of Accounting and Bookkeeping
Although the importance of good accounting is understood, it is rarley on the top of any business owners mind. But it should be. And not just at tax time. A good accountant and bookkeeper provide the owner with the facts of the business. It is these facts that allow them to make good decisions.
Without an accurate profit and loss statement (P/L) and balance sheet they are working on assumptions. These assumptions can lead to bad decisions.
Take a moment and consider you accounting system. Are you getting the service you need from your CPA? Are you getting advice on limiting your tax liability for yourself and your shareholders? Are you getting advice on where you can improve profitability or decrease costs?
If the answer is yes it might be time for a change.
