Business Opportunity: Important Tips in Selecting the Best And The Perfect Business Opportunity

If you are like me and a whole lot of other people out there that have been searching for the right business opportunity, particularly the best or the perfect home based business opportunity, you'd have probably been enticed so many times and are most probably tired of the many hype, smoke and mirrors that we hear about concerning many home based business opportunities out there; network marketers that draw you to buy into their own dreams by having you subscribe to their money games and schemes, pretending to be concerned about your own success while in reality, they're only interested in themselves - recruiting you so that they can sell you their products and move on to the next available easy target (dupe, chump, sitting duck, call it whatever you like) that's in line.

I know that family, kids, the lifestyle you've always wanted to live and whatever else that may be important to you, may be the driving force for you to be searching about the right business opportunity. This is why I caution you here and now to be critical and carefully scrutinize these home based business opportunities before diving head and body into it or anything that promises you "great returns" whereas this "great returns" would be great returns going into the pockets of those in high places rather than you!

If you are absolutely tired of the Mickey-Mouse pyramid and ponzi schemes that are out there (I know not everyone can really define what a ponzi scheme is; I suggest that you Wikipedia or Google it), I strongly suggest that you pay close attention to the tips that I'll be sharing with you in the next few minutes with choosing the right business opportunity. These hard cold facts (believing and holding on to any one of these advices is entirely up to you!) when effectively utilized may land you 99% success in finding the perfect home based business opportunity for you.

#1 thing or should I say, first and foremost, you want to find yourself not just a mentor, but a trustworthy mentor, i.e. not just any mentor but one who you can absolutely trust! This should be the one who has the system. He or She must be the one who has the results that you are looking for. I must stress again that this is not just anyone out there who just has a few loose change here and there and then declares he or she knows all, but this must be someone who would actually listen to you, your needs and really cares about your success. There's an adage that says that a dog that follows a goat will begin to eat whatever the goat is eating. You really have to be careful who you consider your mentor to be. Is he or she where you want to get to? Does he or she really have what you're looking for? Does he or she really care about you?

Note: Oh, you have to be aware of this crucial understanding - this mentor must always have a financial interest in your success. In other words, you must be sure that he or she gets paid EVERY TIME you do so!

The second point I'll like to share with you is what I call "Team Duplication", i.e. your mentor must have scores and scores of other team members that have the duplication of success using the same system as well. Ask to be introduced to a few of them. Unfortunately, this is where a lot of them fail - this is where they fall off or come empty because they've been leaving a trail of destruction all along and not success wherever they go.

One, yet, very important thought you must give consideration to when selecting the right home based business opportunity is with regards to the products being sold. You must ensure that these are legitimate stand alone products, i.e. just from the name, these must be products such that even if put on the shelf, they'll be able to sell themselves. Sadly enough, many network marketing companies are promoting their business only through their compensation plans for these business opportunities and NOT around the standalone product, as it really ought to be. You must beware of this because you end up being in 3 major problems: One is that you'll have a hard time building a residual income and a stable business. Secondly, as a result of this, most people will not be able to duplicate what you're doing and lastly, your attrition will just be very huge!
