Theories Of Feng Shui
* Qi (Chi) Chi is the term used for the universal energy. It is referred to the energy that surrounds us. The Feng Shui deals with the energy present inside the body as well as energy outside and inside the house. The main motive of feng shui is to channel the energy in the positive manner in your home so that it maintains good flow of chi energy inside our body. Chi can be of two types. Sheng Chi is vibrant, fresh, alive chi which should be present around us for good fortune and Sha Chi Or Shi Chi are sharp, low, depressing and attacking energies which should be avoided.
* Ying and Yang Theory The Ying and Yang are opposite poles that should be in balance. Yin and Yang are based on the theory that the opposites cannot live without the other. They are like two sides of the coin. They represent duality and these two parts are together called as one whole part, Taiji. There should be balance between Yin and Yang. They symbolize cycle of constant change. For instance, dark to light, low to high, aggressive to passive, feminine to masculine. Yin and Yang are present in specific amount in the five elements of Feng Shui- water, metal, soil, wood, fire.
* Bagua Also known as Pakua, it represents the cyclic energies of the universe. Bagua or Eight house, consists of an octagon with Taiji in center. Each eight side of the Bagua is called the gua and represent one side of the five elements. Bagua divide your living space into 9 sections that mirror the gua distribution. Feng Shui Bagua helps in recognizing the 'Power spots '. They are the important tool of Feng Shui. Power spots are unique to each person, home and family. The power spots are determined by the surrounding environment as well as the things that are going on with your life.

Simple Tips to Feng Shui Your Home

A perfect house is a house where all the objects are in harmony to each other. Simple Feng Shui tips balance the energy and you get the flow of universal positive energy in the entire space of your house. It is advisable to understand the basic principal, essence and spiritual nature of Feng Shui before applying it at your home. Start with basic Feng Shui tips and then gradually move to more advanced Feng Shui levels.
Some helpful Feng Shui tips for the beginners are as follow:
* Rid your home of clutter: Get rid of the things in your home, which is either useless or broken. Clutter gave rise to negative energy. Clearing the unwanted clutter will produce peaceful and harmonious energy at your home. You can remove the useless torn magazines, accumulated bills and stacked up newspapers. Remove the clutter from every room of your home.
* Improve the center of your home: Center of the home is considered the heart of the home. The heart of the home is associated with health. It should be from clutter so that positive chi may flow in the entire house. To create balance position the place the largest central piece of furniture in center of the room. Do this in every room, but do not position pieces against the corner or a wall. This will interfere with the circulation of air. Placing the vase of live plant on the center table will improve the energies for health and balance. Adding an object that makes you laugh is another way to promote good health for you and your family.
* Allow good Quality Air light in your home: Light and air are essential for good Chi, or feng shui energy in your home. Open the windows often to allow as much natural light as possible into your home. Introduce feng shui air-purifying plants or use an air-purifier to produce positive energy. Use full spectrum light for better illumination. If the windows of your house are not facing the sun, use mirrors to reflect the light.
* Avoid sharp corners: Feng Shui masters visualize every room as either a square or a triangle. However, they always recommend round corners for the furniture. If you have any furniture with sharp corners consider replacing it.
* Use appropriate colors: The energy of your home will be stabilized by balance and harmony. Use proper colors to enhance your mood and energy in your home. Red is full of energy and very bright, it will inspire to move ahead, But do not use it in the bedroom. Orange can be used in the kitchen and playroom as it is refreshing and revitalizing. To promote fun and relaxation, use softer shades of orange in family rooms. Yellow promotes vitality and creativity, and can be used in office or kitchen. Green and blue are mental relaxing and healing colors and can be added to a room when someone is sick.

How to Feng Shui Your Kitchen
Easy tips to balance the flow in your kitchen

According to theories of Feng Shui, the Kitchen is the most important part of a house that sustains and nurtures life. It is the key to a successful life and symbolizes wealth and abundance. Nutritious food gives way to good health and therefore a well nourished person is more prosperous and effective in relationships and career. Similarly, a bad Feng Shui kitchen leads to poor health, poor performance, disappointment and failure in life. These simple Feng Shui tips for the kitchen will help to bring positive energy, luck, happiness and prosperity into your home.
* Stove placement: The cook should have an entire view of the kitchen, while working at the stove. In this position, cook will be fully aware of anyone entering the kitchen. However, if the stove is against the wall, you may fix the position of the stove by placing a reflective sheet or mirror behind the stove. You may also place a shiny pot which reflects the room behind you. If the stove is placed in the corner, it should be pulled out to let the positive chi flow in the kitchen.
* Well stocked food products: Your kitchen should have a full stock of food products. This creates an abundance of prosperity and bestows a feeling of being able to be well-fed. When your kitchen has a well stocked pantry, you will never face scarcity.
* Use all the burners of the stove: If your stove has more than two burner and you are in the habit of using only one or two burners at a time, then start using all four burners at least once a week. This enhance the abundance flow by producing positive energy. This also eliminates any stagnant energy and gives way to fresh energy.
* Position of stove and sink: Stove and sink should be diagonal from each other. This prevents conflict between the elements of fire and water as stove represents fire, and sink represents water. Such incompatibility may spread in the home and cause strife among family members. If you are unable to dislocate the position of stove and sink, you may place a green plant or rug between them to form a barrier.
* Do not overload your kitchen with gadgets: It is better to keep the kitchen simple. Do not place appliances which are not used frequently on counter tops. These gadgets only add negative chi in the atmosphere with excess of radiation and electrical energy flowing out. Kitchens should be properly lit, spacious, bright and welcoming. If the kitchen is small you can add mirrors above and around the stove to spread out the visual aspect of the area.
* Do not keep the stove near window: The stove facing the window may allow the positive energy to flow out of the window along with prosperity, wealth and happiness. The view may be pleasant for the cook, but not good according to feng shui.
Every unlucky layout of the kitchen has a feng shui cure. Proper use of wind chimes, mirrors, and other feng shui objects can do wonders for a bad kitchen layout.

* Remove Electronic Equipment From The Bedroom: The positive energy of the bedroom is destroyed by placing electronic gadgets like Television, computer and even the electronic alarm clock in the bedroom. These equipment produce electromagnetic energy, which disrupts the positive energy of the bedroom.

If a couple are waiting for a baby, then the baby image may produce positive results.
* Open the windows of your bedroom: Frequently open the bedroom window to allow fresh air to come in. If the air of the bedroom is stale and polluted, you cannot have good feng shui. Do not put plants near your bed. It will be better to completely avoid putting plant pots in the bedroom.
* Choose soothing colors for the bedroom: Skin colors are considered best feng shui colors for the bedroom. The color may vary from pale white to brown color.
* Best feng shui tips for the bed: The bed should be good looking and well balanced. Place the bed in a position that it is easily approachable from both the sides. On each sides, keep two bedside tables. The headboard of the bed should not be placed on the wall, which is the incoming door to your bedroom. When you lay on bed, ensure that you can see when someone enters in your bedroom. Otherwise, you may miss new opportunity or you awaited partner. If you are not able to change the position of the bed, place the mirror on the opposite wall, so that you can see the door in the mirror.

Feng Shui Tips to Attract Love

Feng Shui (pronounced Feng Shway) is the ancient Chinese art to arrange elements so that they harmonize with the environment. There are various Feng Dhui arrangements that can be used to enhance love and improve relationship. Feng Shui can drastically improve your life by bringing good and positive energy into your love life. Here you will find some basic ways to attract love in your life.
* Locate Southwest corner of your house: Southwest corner of your house is associated with love and responsible for attracting new friends and true love. Feng Shui practitioner recommends to put a painting of peonies or flowers vase in this area. The flower should be fresh as dead and dried flowers create negative energy. You may also put a pair of wooden ducks or their paintings.
* Remove lonely images: Replace the lonely figure pictures with happy couples to attract love and romance. When you are surrounded by the images and paintings of solitary figures, it will create the lonely atmosphere in your house. Surround yourself with romantic, inspiring and happy pictures.
* Remove the Television from the bedroom: Watching television for late nights may kill romance. You may read romantic books to get asleep.
* Balance the Yin and Yang in your house: If you are single male and looking for love, display items or pictures that represent the presence of females/Yin. Similarly If you are single female, it will be beneficial to add some images that shows male masculine.
* Replace single furniture and prepare for company: If you are looking for love and romance, create snug seating arrangement. Do not put single chairs, rather arrange comfy sofas and at comfortable angled toward each other. It will send positive signals to your partner. Make some space in your drawers, purchase extra toothbrush or purchase one more bed side table, if you have only one. This will make some room for your partner and the chances of getting your love will increase.
* Replace huge beds with queen size bed: Huge beds do not cultivate intimacy. Purchase a small sized comfortable bed which fits both of the partner. If you are not able to change the bed, make use of patterned sheets to add zest to your romantic life. Make your bed as comfortable as possible and always use fresh sheets and linen on it. There should be equal space around the bed so that it has enough space to walk on either side.
* Get rid of negative images: Remove the pictures that represents cool weather. For instance, the picture of snowfall can make the relationship cold too. Get rid of war pictures as it may invite unwanted arguments and fights between partners. Fill your room with stuffs that attract love and romance such as candles, perfumes, chocolate and massage oils.
* Add pink or red decor: Colors like pink and red attract romance and love, so adding red and pink decor will enhance your love life.

- I have been practicing Feng Shui for many years. I became very ill after moving house - the cause was Geopathic stress.
I have found that clearing clutter is one of the most common feng shui problems.
Almost everyone’s got some, and most of us dread having to deal with it no matter how much
we’d like it to go away.
It’s very tempting to skip to the fun part of feng shui, without removing clutter first.
This can actually make the situation worse!

- I've read that one should paint the rooms according to their orientantion. So if one of your rooms is in a "negative" side of the house (i.e. a living room in the northern side is not a good placement) you should try to balance the negative position painting the walls with colors that correspond to the opposite energy. Great lens, congratulations!
