This morning I was driving to work wondering if the recent tax hike on tobacco products made a dent in the number of smoker's. It seemed odd that I'd been driving for 20 minutes without a Butthead incident, when out of the blue she appeared. At the intersection of Little Road/DeCubellis Road my Butthead was driving in her Pasco County monster truck wanna be type vehicle. Without hesitation she flicks the cigarette to the ground. The good news! I caught her! If you should see this lady, please let her know where she can be found!

Who's Been Naughty!

Everyday I talk about Butt Heads in this blog and just thing they are disgusting, no good, litter bugs, that are uneducated.

This morning as my children and I are waiting in the school car line, I hear my daughter say "Dad, a smoker in front of us". I just know what that means as I get my handy camera ready. Sure enough, the butt comes flying out of the car ahead. Now witness to the morning "BUTT HEAD" I have to explain to my children why someone would do that in their own community. To make it better, here's a parent smoking in the car with with their children, then showing them its o.k to litter.

The only positive note to this story is that I caught you and have the picture to share.

I'm really discussed when I'm driving with children and we have to see scum like this. We were on Main Street/580 in Dunedin, Florida at a traffic light, and what do you think happened?

You got it! A "BUTT HEAD" did it again.

I really need to pull up beside them after the picture to make them aware of our Blog. At least they can tell friend's and family of their new found celebrity status.

Way to go Grandpa! You were able to teach a great leasson to your grandchildren this morning. Not only did you fill thier you lungs with second hand smoke as your drove them to school, You also showed them how to discard you lit cigarette. They even watched as you tossed it, and it bounced down Little Road.

Ok, I know what you're saying! "Where have you been with all of your Buttflicker reporting?" I admit, I've been a bit lazy the past week. Now, that doesn't mean I haven't been watching and writing down plate numbers (Which I'll expose here in just a sec.). The GREAT NEWS...... I finally bought a video recorder that I can use to catch these "BUTFLICKERS". It also gives me the opportunity to burn the video to DVD and send it to the authorities! Now, you'll soon ask me..."When will we see the video's?" Great question.....As soon as my 4 GB card arrives. I'll also be able to shoot video in high definition for extreme clarity. There will be no mistake in seeing the Buttflickers in action. I'll review the Aiptex (MPVR+cb) digital camcorder very soon.

It really get me going in the morning when I see smokers using the earth as a personal ash tray. It was a beautiful morning as I was driving the children to school around 8:30am. I was behind a commercial truck (AmeriSpec) with the driver who was smoking. No big deal, since I really have nothing against people who choose to smoke. As we continued through the Trinty area, the driver decided to toss his cigarette out the window and into my path.
The thing I can't understand, is when you own or represent a company and all your information is detailed on your truck, why?, Why you'd take a chance that I'd see you do that? Now I'didn't get to snap a photo, as the driver was doing 60mph in a school area, but I'm sure he uses the same way to work.
Anyway, in an effort to stop people from littering, I'll be able to send the information to his comapany and Maybe, just maybe he'll think twice about tossing his cigarette again.

Hi gang,

I've found the newest gaget to catch buttflickers!
I've been working hard with a digital camera, and unable to have the police use the photo's to issue a ticket. They told me "We need to see the actual litter leaving the car window, or the person throwing the litter to the ground"

That's when I started thinking! I need to capture video, burn it to CD, and send the information tho the police that way.

Here's what I'm doing in the next da or so. I'm going to purchase The Flip (www.theflip.com) a small but powerful video camara. Now you'll see the dirtbags in action as they toss the litter and get caught.

My next search will be how we can confirm a ticket has been issued for littering. I suppose it could be searched as local public record. I'll need everyone's help. I'll make sure to post any new information as soon as I get it.

Lombard, IL - Chipolte Mexican Grille 9/11/07

Are You Kidding Me

Well, i'm in Lombard, IL. for some business and have a few hours to kill. I decided to dine at one of my favorite places....Chipotle Mexican Grille.
Now since I've been in Chicago I haven't seen anyone litter from the car, on the street, at all. I suppose someone could have done so behind my back or when I wasn't looking. Anyway, back to my story! As I was feasting on my Burrito Bowel and large water, I sat alone and watched out the window and enjoying my lunch, when a young 20ish, Indian male and his friends approached the door smoking. One last puff, and there it went right in front of the window where I was eating. The person couldn't even step on the cigarette to put it out. Of course I did't have my camera to catch him, but I still wanted to expose him.

You are young, probably with a decent job, probably born in India and brought to the United States. We probably gave you a nice education, and nice home, and I'm sure some tax incentives. But We must have failed in teaching you the basics of "Non-Butt Flicking" So to you sir. I say you are disgusting and you deserve a ticket. Maybe one day, we'll get our wish. I hope once I leave this fine town, that someone will happen to catch you in the act. You know who you are, and I hope you read this!

Good Morning! This week I'll be reporting from Michigan Ave. as I try to expose people who litter. I have to say, I've been to Chcago a lot and people here seem to really care about the community. For such a big city, it is really clean here. Today I'll run the lake shore to see what I can find. Wednesday I'm off to Hartford to see how they treat their community, more about that later in the week. Thanks for reading and helpingkeep your community clean. Think, Before you throw.

Littering is a crime (Class A misdemeanor), and you can be fined up to $500, sent to jail for12 months, or both. This applies to littering along highways or streets, in rivers or streams or on any public or private property.

Expanding My Exposure of Litter Bugs

It's been some time since I've been logging my pictures and toughts about people who throw garbage out of the car window. I have decided to expand my project in to catching these law breaking citizens on video. I figure, If I can catch you on video, pass it along to the police, they'd have no alternative but to give you a ticket.

I've also decided to add people who throw anything and everything out the window as they drive. I know a person who works as a deputy in Largo, is on the SWAT team, and thinks it's ok to throw his banana peel out his window because he say's "It's bio-degradeable. Come on! You're a Office of the Law! We have a Florida Litter Law, and you tell us it's not against the law! I'd love to catch that on video and send it in to your chief.
