The operation is being done under the general anesthesia and lasts for 2 to 4 hours. There are two incisions being made just above the tail bone. The incisions are small, and serve for buttock implants placement. Once the surgeon places them on the right places and makes sure they will not change the position, he stitches the incisions and the surgery is then finished.

The recovery period lasts for one month, but the results can take months to be seen. It takes time for the body to accept butt implants, and after they settle in patient will be able to see the benefits.

There are some risks considering butt implants. They can move and change the looks of patients buttocks - the cosmetic surgery is needed to put them in the right place. Also, there is the danger of implants bursting, since there is a lot of pressure on that part of the human body. If that happens, another surgery is needed to repair the damage.
