Button badges

Button badges (also called badges, pin-back buttons and pins) are an easily removable method of displaying an image.

They are made of layers stamped together in a press. From the front, they layers are:
a protective plastic sheet
a design on paper
a metal or plastic backing
a pin

They can be made out of any picture or text in a variety of sizes from 1-inch to more than 3 inches. The possibilities are endless!

They can be personalised with your name.
They can show a picture of your dog.
They can be funny!
They can make a statement.
They can show you're part of a group.
They can show how unique you are.
They can be made for special occasions.
They can be mixed-and-matched.
They can suit your mood.
They can be easily removed when your mood changes.
They can match what you're wearing.
They can make a bag, hat or shirt look interesting.
They can tell people what you like.
They can start a conversation.
They can make friends for you.
They can be for birthdays.

You can make button badges yourself, although the machinery required will cost you at least a few hundred dollars, before you buy the parts.

Alternatively, you can get someone else to make them for you. Many people sell pre-designed badges, and some sell custom-designed badges too (with a picture or text made just for you). If you want custom-designed badges most people will require you to purchase at least 50.
