One of my favorite Cafepress products is the pin-back button.  I always wanted a button maker of my own, but it would have been one more thing to find room for.  Now I have a virtual button-maker of my own through my cafepress shop.  This lens is about some of the things you can do with them.

First, you can wear them of course!  Pin one on your lapel, or your scarf, or your headband.

Second, you can carry them.  Pin them on your backpack, your tote-bag, your purse or your fanny pack.

Pin Back Buttons on Banners and Streamers

Third, you can use them to make banners and streamers. Here I have two one yard lengths of ribbon with buttons pinned on them to illustrate. The ribbons could be tied to the handle-bars of a bike, hung off the porch, strung along the mantle, draped on the Christmas tree or on a wreath. Hmm. So many possibilities. I think I'll go look at buttons now!

Pin-Back Buttons as Christmas Tree Decorations

Fourth, pin back buttons make nice, shiny, inexpensive Christmas tree ornaments. String them on narrow ribbon, hang them singly, or as in this photo in pairs tied together to make an ornament.

Use a small tree like this one, decorated with buttons, as a "favor tree", if you'd like to give guests a small memento of your party or dinner. Let them chose the button they would like to wear as they leave to remember the party.
I'll be adding more things to do, so please check back soon.
