Apple iPhone
The Apple iPhone is a lovely device with a sleek interface, top-notch music and video features and an innovative design. The touchscreen is easy to use and the multimedia performs well.
It measures 115mm tall by 61mm wide by 12mm deep, but it still feels smaller than it looks. In comparison, it's about as tall and as wide as a Palm Treo 755p, but it manages to be thinner than even the hugely popular Motorola Razr. It fits comfortably in the hand and when held to the ear, and its 135g weight gives it a solid, if perhaps heavy, feel. The display is glass rather than plastic.
In true Apple style, the iPhone's menu interface is attractive, intuitive and easy to use. In the main menu, a series of coloured icons call out the main functions. Icons for the phone menu, the mail folder, the Safari Web browser and the iPod player sit at the bottom of the screen, while other features such as the camera, the calendar and the settings are displayed above. This is all operated by a great touch screen controls.
With its 8gb memory a great sounding ipod and all the other great features the iphone is a highly sought after device and now its opended to the other cell phone networks, I feel it will go from strength to strength.

Apple Apps: Finally third party apps
Jobs is explaining that it's been hard, historically, for developers to distribute their phone apps. Apple is fixing that with the Apps Store, which will be on all iPhones with the new software release.He's demoing the Apps Store. There's a list of categories, like Business, Finance, and Games. There's a list of the Top 50 apps. And if you know what you want, you can search--for a backgammon game, for instance. Once you find what you want, you click a button and it's downloaded and installed, via cell network or Wi-Fi.
