When taking pictures using a digital camera you will still make mistakes, no matter how much you spend on your camera, its equipment and software to enhance the photos. You will always need to enhance some of your pictures making adjustments and getting the best out of every shot you take and their is software on the market to do this. Software now available can give quick fix's for brighter, sharper and more colorful pictures you can also buy software which will give special effects and styles to your photos. To make you a better photographer there are alot of books and programs on the market, there are even programs on how to make a living selling the pictures you take. See below for information, there are also alot of differant options on the camera you buy.

Equipment you will need for Digital Photography

You will need a Computer to download and edit the pictures on, the more upto date and larger RAM the better with a good quality monitor.
There are two main types of camera the Compact smaller camera normally you cannot change the len's but is a good starter camera and the Digital SLR which you can change len's on and have a much higher specification, very good cameras once you have mastered the basics. The pixal range is also quite varied and the higher the pixal rate the better pictures will be taken, most cameras come with their own browser software but you can buy good camera enhancing software to supplement this. Don't forget most camera's have limited memory built in and extra memory is normally a good idea.
A good printer or a printer and scanner is also good. Scanners are used for old photos you wish to repair or restore.
On the market today are lots of Imaging software, Photoshop is quite good but mostly as with all the other things mentioned it will come down to your budjet. You can always upgrade any of your equipment at a later stage when you have more money or have earned money.
