Best deals to buy Fender starter guitar online

I honestly wish these were around when i was learning how to play. This package has it all. An amp, a high quality guitar, a case, picks, a learning book, and comes in a variety of colours!

When i was learning, i would have loved this as my beginner guitar (i am an experienced player now so i play an instrument worth thousands lol). My father didnt want to buy me a good guitar so he he made me learn on his cheap old knockoff guitar made of masonite (the fender is made of solid wood). At the time, the cheapest guitars were still almost $300! Not only that, but i had to get an amp (a cheap one being $150), picks,a patch chord, and learning books.

My dad simply could not afford all of this. Heaven forbid i dont keep playing, the equipment would be useless and sit in the corner collecting dust. If my father had the chance to get me a quality beginners guitar, an amp, picks, a chord, and books for $200, he would have jumped at it. That would have been a dream come true for him and me! Not only would he have been able to see the happiness in my face (which i dont care every parent wants to see), he wouldnt have had to put a major dent in his wallet!

As an experienced guitarist, i would recommend this package to anyone, whether it be a child or adult to learn how to play. You simply could not get more bang for your buck.

I got this kit for my birthday because I want to learn guitar. It is totally ridiculous to invest much more than about $200 at the start of a new hobby. At the beginner level, you have no idea what you need, what you want, whether your even going to stick with it, etc. Luckily, Fender is selling this little gem.

I'm not going to lie--in this $200 package, you will not get a $700 guitar with a $150 amp and a Monster cable. What you do get is a guitar that sounds good and that you can learn on, an amp that makes your practice audible, and a DVD that... well, sucks. The DVD is really bad.

I highly recommend this package for the beginner.

(As for the DVD sucking--it says it's for beginners, but it moves much too fast. Get a book and teach yourself or, better yet, get lessons. Don't count on the DVD.)
