I Love Enjoying Gourmet Coffee at Home

I've always loved the smell of coffee, but it has only been in the past few years that I have become addicted to the delicious taste as well.

A day just isn't the same without indulging in a cuppa made from quality gourmet coffee beans.  My current favorite place to buy gourmet coffee is Boca Java Coffee.

I tried Boca Java a while back when I was ordering online gifts for my sister and mother-in-law. I fell in love with their flavored coffee myself.

I'm a bit of a penny pincher, but I've discovered that for the price of a couple of cups from Starbucks, I can get a whole bag of fresh ground gourmet coffee from Boca Java. I use my own coffee machine and make delicious flavored coffee. Now I think of gourmet coffee as one of the comforts of home.

Now I'm ready to start ordering the beans whole! I can grind them for my coffee maker, or cover them in melted chocolate for a quick pick me up throughout the day. Mmmmm. If sounds as good to you as it does to me, here's a recipe for chocolate covered coffee beans. If you're a real caffeine junkie, you can even use espresso beans! :-)

Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans

Better Than Expected

I just ordered some Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans, Raspberry flavored, no less, for my sister's birthday.

They were amazing. I bought them from Boca Java Coffee and I was thinking they were espresso beans covered in raspberry flavored chocolate. They were, in fact, called Raspberry Mocha Bean Bites.

Too my surprise and delight, they actually had more like an espresso powder center. Even better than I anticipated. I'm afraid my sister didn't save me many - selfish girl! :-)

I thought you might enjoy trying out these lovely little morsels. I have to give Boca Java another thumbs up!

Cafe Belmondo - Another "Must Try"

When One Good Coffee Is Not Enough

Okay, I took the advice of one of my guests and checked out Cafe Belmondo. Surprise, surprise! They are pretty good!

I mean, really. Chocolate Turtle coffee and Cinnamon Vanilla coffee - what more can a person ask for? Okay, yes perhaps I could ask for just a little bit more. Like, for instance, I wouldn't mind a slice or two (or three) of their "Jamaican Me Crazy" coffee cake!

So, I have to say a great big THANK YOU, to aky for giving me one more place to go a little caffeine crazy. Want to join me? Go ahead, try Cafe Belmondo. You won't be sorry! I'm not...

Hiya CoffeeAddict! If you ever get a chance, check out the new truffles that Artisan Confections is making for Starbucks. I totally recommend the Vanilla Bean ones.

As far as brewed coffee, I've formed a sort of 'sub-addiction' for Sumatra coffee. I have a short article written up about it here. For a real treat, try sipping a cup of each variety (Gayo and Mandheling) of Sumatran coffee and see if you notice the differences and similarities.
