This Flower Print Would Be An Excellent Gift!

Want to buy a meaningful and original gift for someone? Then buy them a work of fine art!
There is a photographer/artist on Etsy that I think has some affordable and absolutely gorgeous pieces of art. I have found one that I would love to receive as a gift and am featuring it here. If you know anyone who loves to visit galleries and gaze at art for hours, then I feel like they would love this piece of art, too.
I could just stare at the luscious blues and greens in "Blue Delphinium" for hours. This image takes me to my imaginary garden where my delphiniums grow rampant! Oh, look! There is a blue bird getting a sip of water at the bubbling fountain that my husband created for me. Oh, now Mr. Blue Bird is visiting my bottletree where I have collected my favorite chardonnay bottles. Oh what a sparkling, pleasant place I have created--in my head.
I also think that gift giving should be multi-dimentional.
When you buy a work of art as a gift for someone, you are giving the artist a gift, too!

I've been writing professionally for 28 years, and became passionate about photography when I had the opportunity to review digital cameras for Kodak and Nikon back in the late 90's.

Nature photography is such a joy for me, and I especially love shooting pictures early in the morning as daylight creeps across flowerbeds, or later in the day in the golden light of dusk. Photography led naturally into photo art, and every piece (except for my fractal art, which will be categorized separately) begins with an original photo taken with my Canon EOS.

When I'm not busy writing or taking photos, I enjoy camping, gardening, history, and reading.

I believe a good photo doesn't need a caption, and I've been told that my photos stir the emotions. For me, it's a love of nature coupled with the fun of watching the effect of light, texture, and space.
