This model is simply the ES-LA93 in the above section, without the hydraclean cleaning base. With the hyper motor speed, you can still cleanse the blades very quickly and easily by submerging it into the water and activate the hyper cleaning mode.

Of course it is going to be better to have the hydraclean cleaning base to go with it. The cleaning base will auto clean the unit thoroughly and lubricate the blades to keep it good as new everytime you have to use it.

Panasonic has the sharpest blades in the industry that are made possible by the nano technology. The fourth blade provides extra cutting, which reduces repeated shaving and thus reduces the irritation. The expanded cutting surface provides a more efficient shave.
