Where to Buy Tron (1982 Movie) DVD

Here's a 2-disc set with the original Tron movie on DVD and Blu-Ray, plus "Making of Tron" commentaries, retrospectives, and the usual goodies we've come to expect. I hadn't realized that Richard Taylor (the guy from WETA who worked on the LOTR movies) was also visual effects supervisor for Tron Classic. That explains a lot.

This is actually a good bargain: Tron: Legacy (2010) on DVD and Blu-Ray, both 3D and plain; Tron (original 1982 movie) on Blu-Ray and DVD, and just to cover all bases there's a digital DVD. The commentaries/making of are mostly for Tron: Legacy, but it includes development and interviews for the original Tron movie as well.

If you have an old Playstation II lying around and have a sense of humor, you should play this game at least once. The opening is a little slow, but it's fun bopping between Pirates of the Caribbean, Tron, Winnie The Pooh, The Little Mermand, the Lion King, and several other familiar spheres of Disney pop culture. (One world is devoted to Final Fantasy characters from Japan, but that's okay.) I just wish we could pluck characters from different universes and throw them together -- Jack Sparrow and Jack Skellington, anyone?
