How & Where to Buy Silver Coins - Silver for Sale
Silver coins are easier to find, cheaper to purchase and in an economy where it is traded for goods and services it will be easier to use as currency vs. walking around with a big gold bar shaving bits off to buy food or supplies.
When searching for silver coins either online (like eBay) or at a pawn shop, coin dealer etc. be sure to search out pre-1965.

Reasons to Buy Silver
Investing in Precious Metals
2. Silver is more affordable than gold.
3. The ratio of gold:silver in the earth's crust is about 1:15. Doesn't this mean it's price should be 1:15 as well. That would put it at about $90/oz today, yet you can pick up and oz for $28.00
4. All the gold ever mined has been put in a vault or hoarded in some way. This cannot be said for silver as it is also an industrial metal and has been consumed and sent to a landfill somewhere. It has been said that there is far less silver inventory above ground right now and silver should be "selling" for more than gold.

That by the time the general public wakes up to the true rarity of silver it will be much higher in price. So start accumulating it now while it's still affordable. I try to buy some everytime the price dips and you should too.
Springbok predicts:
Silver will rise for as long as gold keeps rising - the two are like twins they go together and follow each other around.

Silver dollars - Silver Coins - Junk Silver
5. Everyone can afford a little Silver even if it means buying a roll of junk silver dimes for $75.00 or so. It is called junk silver as it is a little worn, some of the silver is worn away and it is not so shiny any more.6. Start your collection with an American Silver Eagle, or a Canadian Maple Leaf. These Silver coins are recognized worldwide as money.
7. It is said that all paper money returns to it's intrinsic value given enough time. The "value" of most G8 fiat currency (paper money) is trending to zero and one a long enough time line it will be worth nothing. Silver will always have some value. It is said that a silver dime will always buy a loaf of bread. Do you think this is true with the one dollar bill?
8. There is still time to buy some , don't feel you have missed the boat because you didn't buy any at lower prices. There are some who believe silver will be worth more than $1000.00 / oz in the not to distant future. Sure this will mean the US dollar will not be worth much then , but that's the point isn't it?

- My Grandpa had collected a lot of the Kennedy silver dollars and was convinced by the propaganda to turn them in for paper in the 70's, now that was a mistake for sure!

- When I was a young man growing up in the 1960's (man am I that old) a silver quarter would buy a gallon of gasoline at 25c a gallon. Fast forward to present day and one silver quarter (worth over $5.00 now) will still buy a gallon of gas (and then some). You can't say the same for your Federal Reserve Notes can you. All that glitters is not gold (sometimes it's silver).
