You can also manipulate the story a bit, as you can choose whether you become the hero or the villain. In this game, you won't be able to earn cash by completing missions. Since you are supposedly a hero, you should have motivations other than money. You can earn money yourself by doing jobs like bartending, blacksmithing and assassination. Other sources of income include playing the XBOX Live Arcade Game entitled Keystone, helping friends to complete their missions in their world as his henchman and renting out your houses. You can use your hard earned money for valuable stuff like buying equipments, and buying books from many bookstores. Some of the books contain new skills that you can learn while others are used to upgrade your existing skills. You can do so many things in Fable II that 50 hours just may not be enough to do everything. One character may not be enough as well. You might want to make another character. One character can be a hero and the other could be the villain. This way, you'll be able to explore the game much better.
