Buying Text Links

Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. The number of backlinks is an indication of the link popularity or importance of that website or page. In basic link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web node (web page, directory, website, or top level domain) from another web node. Backlinks are also known as incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links.

It is very important that the backlink is contextually relevant (meaning the content of the page or site is related to yours), otherwise you are just wasting your money.

It's quality, not quantity!

Don't buy backlinks just for the sake of having them. Even if it's a PR7, it's not nearly as valuable to you as a PR4 that is closely related to your site's content.

Backlinks.com - A smarter place to buy and sell links. They are not in the spotlight and like to keep it that way. They are used by many big sites.

Text-Link-Ads.com - They are in the spotlight of Google and have paid a price. They were heavily penalized by Google. One problem is that they are constantly having to change their tinyurl address, which means so must you.

One Way Backlinks - Your text links will appear on over 1000 unique web sites which have web pages of article content in over 60 different categories. This is not a good idea! The backlinks should be related to your site's content, otherwise it raises a red flag with Google and the links don't count for nearly as much.

One Way Text Links - I do not recommend buying links in bulk, especially coming via the same sites. This just screams "linkfarm" and "Hey Google, over here!"

Buy-ad-links.com - I haven't used this one, but they could be good. They allow you to select the type of campaign. I am not sure if they allow you to see the site or choose exactly which site you want to backlink to you.
