KitchenAid Cook For The Cure 5-Piece Cutlery Prep Set I did a lot of research before I bought a knife set, and the KitchenAid knives seemed to have the best "bang for the buck." I will say that if you're looking for a "do-it-all" set of knives, this isn't it...BUT if you don't require the perfect knife for every job or have very little space for a larger knife set, this is a great little set. We've been using these knives for a little over a month now. I was thoroughly impressed with these knives from the moment we took them out of the box. I had only had a cheap set we had gotten for our wedding YEARS ago. While they still "worked," the blades were flimsy and flexible and starting to show their age (rusting, spots, etc). Wanting a good set that didn't break the bank, I decided to try these our because they had some of the basic knives of the larger set, but didn't have the high price of the full-sized set. I wasn't willing to spend the money on the larger set without trying them out first...which led me to purchase this set.

KitchenAid KPCA Pasta Cutter Companion Set Attachment It looks good, it works well, it lives up to kitchenaid's good reputation. Like the other pasta cutters and the roller, it works better if you dust the sheets with flour between rolling and between rolling and cutting. That way everything works smoothly and the strands separate. I don't separate the individual strands of angel hair, but like the manual says, you can make a little nest of it in a baggy and freeze it.
When you cook the pasta, stir it while it is first in the water to break apart the clumps, and you will have something good to eat that you know was prepared with care.

KitchenAid KG300 Box Grater Every other cheese grater I've ever had has rusted and gotten dull after about 12 months. This one is AWESOME. I've had it for a little over six years and it's still going strong. Easy to run through the dishwasher, stays good and sharp, and the little storage box is still in perfect condition - and we use ours at least once a week. A VERY worthy purchase.

However, I must confess that I was a bit nervous with the whole idea after reading reviews on different brands how hard it is to cook with stainless steel. I found this KitchenAid set and asked my husband to get them for me for Christmas and I must say that I am very impressed with how well they are made and how easy they are to use.

KitchenAid KFP750ER 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor I have been cooking for 30 years and can remember having at least 4 previous food processors. None have performed anywhere close to or as good as this one. After using others for weeks, they usually ended up under the counter and being rarely taken out. Mostly due to the fact that they were a pain to clean and keep all of the accessories together. This one is different. I have had mine for 6 months now and it has been on my countertop every day. It is much more quiet and powerful than others I have had like Cuisinart, and Hamilton Beach. I can't believe how fast it chops. I normally only use the pulse setting just to keep from puréeing the items I am chopping. It handles meat easily to make ground beef. The mini sub-bowl is so easy to clean; I don't hesitate to use it every day. Mine came with a plastic organizer to keep the attachments in which is very helpful. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality processor that is reasonably priced.
