The 12 lights on the left in the circle represent hours, on the bottom there are five lights that represent minutes in units of ten, and the top bar features nine lights that represent the minutes in between. When you press the button to show the time, the lights move around the circle and across the bars in a malfunctioning manner that harkens back to a KITT car (only blue) gone awry. The B version measures 4.4 centimeters across, 1.9 centimeters long, and 1.3 centimeters thick, and features a leather band with contrast stitching (maximum wrist size 19.5 cm) and a traditional buckle clasp.

Star Performer

Tokyo Flash Men's STAR/PERFOR/IPB/WHT Star Performer Black Ion Plated Watch

Amazon Price: (as of 05/29/2012)Buy Now

Tokyo Flash makes timepieces like no other, and its Star Performer is a stellar example of its futuristic design ethos. This tall-profile stainless steel digital men's watch has a sleek black ionic plating and a white LED display. Time is indicated by the number that's lighted up in each of the four vertical rows--for example, 1-2-5-3 would be 12:53. The display also has four icons at the top that indicate the selected mode--clock for time, martini glass for PM, sun icon for day and date, and dollar sign ($) for year.

The special Pimp mode lights up all the lights in a fireworks-like manner and automatically turns on at 7:00 PM and turns off at 1:00 AM (it can not be switched off). This flashing feature can be demonstrated during the day when you press the time display button, and it runs for 12 consecutive minutes before it goes back into battery-save mode. It's complemented by a black ionic-plated stainless steel bracelet band (with a double-pushbutton, fold-over safety clasp), and this watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet)--enabling it to withstand splashes and accidental dunks into the water, but not suitable for swimming.

Futara Mugen

Tokyo Flash Men's FUTARA MUGEN-BLK "Futara Mugen" Watch

Amazon Price: (as of 05/29/2012)Buy Now

Feel like you've stepped out of the future (or the world of science fiction) when you wear this conversation starter from TokyoFlash. Fusing retro and futuristic looks, this watch features an '80s-inspired black, 16-millimeter-wide stainless steel band that joins to a 26-millimeter-wide case with a similar vintage feel. The future is revealed in its unique digital display that could be mistaken for a video game. Water resistant to 99 feet, this sturdy watch is a digital masterpiece. It is backed by a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.

I find the Tokyo Flash watch to be very funky and chic.

The Retrofit

Tokyo Flash Men's RETROFIT "Retrofit" Watch

Amazon Price: (as of 05/29/2012)Buy Now

Slide into our retro groove with the Retrofit watch from Tokyo Flash. This LED-matrix, time-traveling wristwatch features a stunning stainless-steel case, bezel and band with a green LED display that is angled so it easy to check the time. A press of a button activates the LED matrix, which animates across the screen to reveal the time, a second press can skip to the date. Although this watch is sci-fi inspired, it is an excellent addition to any dressy, nightlife ensemble and is sure to turn heads. It's sturdy and solid, and just heavy enough to feel like you're wearing something with a bit more brio. And since the display is slung over there's no risk of damage to the dial window even if you walk into a lamppost. The Retrofit measures 3.5 centimeters across, 4.5 centimeters long, and 1.5 centimeters thick, and features a band made of solid stainless steel (maximum wrist size 21.0 cm) with a push-button, fold-over clasp.

Equalizer High Frequency - Black

Tokyo Flash - Equalizer High Frequency - Black

Amazon Price: (as of 05/29/2012)Buy Now

Equalizer High Frequency - Black - Strutting your stuff with this baby strapped to your wrist is sure to turn heads, maybe even enough to compete with the bright lights of Tokyo. The display pushes up the top row of lights and they float back down in a real equalizer effect, finally all the lights fall down off the face of the watch to leave only two lights to indicate the time for 5 seconds, then the two lights also trail off. The Cutting Edge Technology used in this timepiece has never been seen before in the watch industry and may revolutionize how some watches are made. It took over a full year of research and development as well as re-engineered 9 times to perfect this watch. Every angle, every material and every component was picked apart by the designers and engineers to create the best possible timepiece. After receiving the first samples of this watch, our staff here, were in shock. We all stood looking at this watches, and said to each other things like, ""It should sell for well over 20,000 Yen"" or ""This is the most futuristic watch I have ever seen"" or ""People are going to go crazy over this watch"" or ""Will we have enough stock?"". Additional notes: The watch uses very little power for the amount of lights and is far more efficient than traditional LED watches. Note this is not an LED watch. It is an Advanced LCD using only 1 LED to light the entire watch using new technology. This is why the power consumption is low. The Mirrored face and numbers are very eye catching. When light reflects off it you are sure to get noticed. The design was done to accommodate all sizes of wrists both big and small. Watch measures 47mm by 29mm. Displays the time and Date - AM/PM - English and Japanese Instructions - 3ATM Water Resistant - Mirrored Numbers - Using Advanced Technology - Was re-engineered 9 times until perfected
