This is the conflict that started it all.

However, in the game itself they kind of did not go into details anymore because after all this was the newest installation of their previous game. They kind of fast forwarded the story and started in a more recent time which is the war between the Republic of Helic and the Guylos Empire. This was the setting of the game Zoids Assault. In the game you need to choose a side and hopefully you could devise a strategy so that your side wins. You will choose from the various Zoids and the best thing about these mechanical creatures is that you can do upgrades in order to have a good firepower and defense.
