Journey of Recovery - Surviving Abuse - Triumphant Victory

This is one of many blogs I work on.  All of which have their own flare and style.  All of which speak to survival and recovery from domestic violence.

Who's In Control?

Self Published Work - Lulu.com

I lay outside, hiding in the darkness of night. I had been physically kicked out of my own home. Screaming, ranting and raving still echoed in my head.

The kids had settled down and were fitfully resting, having said good night to them through their bedroom windows.

I wondered then who was in control. I thought no one is. Then things would settle down and I would be in control. Then it would start again. He would snap and be in control, if you want to call it that - he thought he was anyway. Again, I would lay outside, having been hauled out with my shirt being pulled off - kicked out of my home in a fit of violence.

Years of this took place - no one in control and everyone thinking they were. Then He showed Himself - unequivocally He is in control!!

    Hello,

You applied to add this lens to the group, "Authors on Squidoo" which has confused me a bit, as I don't see anything on this page that is related to a book or author. I will keep your application as "pending" for now. Please contact me, so we can discuss this.

    Thanks,
    Marti
