The testimony of my oldest son who graduated high school this month (May).  He holds a full time job and worked while completing his IEP'd senior year, achieving his goals and taking his diploma with the rest of the graduating seniors.  He happens to have Down Syndrome.  Text books will tell you he learns slowly.  Medical experts will say he can't do much.  I'm here let you know he knows and learned a lot about life early on and  he can do all things he choses, just as anyone else can.  He has taught me a lot and it took me a while to get it . . . the greast is love!!
