TORA! TORA! TORA! DVD Review
TORA! TORA! TORA!
This is the movie to see if you want a great story of the events leading up to and the attack on Pearl Harbor, Dc. 7 1941. Forget the over hyped drivel of a recent remake and sit back and watch this movie instead. Filmed by both aJapanese and American directors it gives you both sides of the story. Five stars and well worth your time. Check out my video!

Is now the time to go Blu?
Blu Ray Today
You have a huge DVD collection but every time you go to the store you are eyeing up those BluRay movies. Are they better? Can I play them? What do I need? First off you will need lots of cash just to get started. If you have an old CRT TV you will need to upgrade that first. 720P/1080i/1080p are the ones you are looking for. 1080p being the current top of the line. Make sure it has multiple HDMI connections for the best sound and video quality.Did I just mention sound? Well the new Blu's come with several new audio formats that will require a brand new receiver to decode and send to your speakers. The new sound is truely amazing and well worth the price of the new receiver.
Finally you will of course need a BluRay player. Dont get an old one because it probably will not play the newest audio formats and will lack the firmware version to play all the interactive portions of the newest discs. Look for a player that can be upgraded via the internet(right now I would suggest the PS3)and you are just about set.
So now that you have your new TV, receiver, and player. Do you have any money left over to buy the discs themselves? Lets hope so because the market is about to be flooded with Blu Ray material.
BluRay is a huge leap forward but it is a subtle leap. My advice, jump on the bandwagon now. All your old DVD's should play just fine(but no guarantees) on your new player so you dont need to run out and rebuy movies you already have. Just pick up the new releases on BluRay and enjoy the best picture and sound currently available.
Like the reviews now go ahead and buy the dvd. You know you want to.
