Saw the soul session with Katie and Oprah. I just love when your mind gets blown open wide with new ways of seeing and thinking.

I feel connected to Byron Katie because we both have Fuchs Dystophy. When we talk about seeing through a lens of clarity, it can happen after DSEK, the four quesitons and turn-around.

Love her. She is so calm. Her work is a valuable tool in my spiritual tool chest.

These 4 simple questions and turn-arounds have given us the amazing ability to instantly turn around any situation. Love Katie's clear, direct insights. :) Great lens, thank you!

Wow! I don't watch TV (time issue, not a moral one) so I had never seen this until now. Excellent ideas to ponder.

Thanks for this page. Someone told me about the "Four Questions," and it was the same thing. Very important and good message. Thoughtful lens.

I have heard you quote "The Work" many times, and I have learned from you. It reminds me of Pat O'Bryan explaining about reframing. So simple and so profound. A good exercise for us all, I think. Thank you!

Another brilliant lens full of heart and substance! I love how Byron Katie get's down to the bare naked truth by questioning in such a straight forward manner.

Great lens, but you knew that :) Just wanted to remind you that this is featured on the Spiritual Growth and Development Group: http://www.squidoo.com/groups/spiritual-growth

It's now transformed into a lensography and I would love it if you could feature it here, or lensroll it or something.

One of my clients did a month long retreat with her. Since I worked with my client before and after i got to see the amazing transformation she went through. Katie's work is original and fabulous.

Love your philosophy and love your lenses!

I love her emphasis on recognizing that right now everything is fine. Maybe your company is on the verge of shutting down and you don't know how you'll find another job, but that's worrying about the future. Right here, right now, everything is fine. Great lens. :-)

Her authenticity is so strong, she Knows every word she speaks - beautiful!
    Thank you for this lens!

I had no idea that Byron Katie had been on Oprah. I bought the book "The Work of Byron Katie" quite awhile back, and read it, but I didn't connect with it as I had anticipated I would. After reading your lens, I think I need to find the book and read it again. Nice job! 5*

    Hi, Kate.
You did an excellent job of describing Byron Katie's work, and putting into into personal terms that everyone can understand. Your article is well-written. The presentation here is pleasant and effective. All in all, this is a lens worthy of 5*, Fav, and lensroll.
Please consider submitting it to Who's Who in Personal and Spiritual Growth.

Our thoughts control our actions and our emotions. They can heal, destroy or give us peace.
    Great lens

I have to say that I have never tried The Work although I am familiar with it and with Byron Katie. I think that if a particular clearing, healing or releasing method works for you and resonates with you then go for it. And, I think that all these healing modalities have come to us at just the right time in our history. We need to take responsibility for our thoughts and emotions and do whatever we can to find that peace within ourselves and let that radiate outward. Then we'll have what Eckhart Tolle promised in his book, "A New Earth".
