New Favorite Product Alert!Since it's getting around to spring and better weather, I have already gotten sick of my pasty complexion and general whiteness from being indoors all winter. I wanted a quick-fix since I don't subscribe to the theory that laying in a tanning bed is fun, and hate the thought of having some stranger airbrush a fake tan on me. I decided to take the plunge and purchase the St. Tropez Auto-Bronzant gel self tanner. I tried it tonight, and I'm already thrilled with the results, and I have about another two hours before it fully develops. I followed the directions on the bottle to the letter. Exfoliate first, use a moisturizer on dry areas like knees and elbows, and then apply the bronze-hued gel one limb at a time. It was a cake walk. I would suggest scrubbing your palms after you do one leg, one arm, etc. since the stuff really works fast. Use a nail brush and soap to really scrub it off of your hands, since you want to avoid that "tanned palms" look that is a self-tanner dead giveaway. The results are natural, and the gel is a dark brown tint that shows where it goes. I applies pretty streaky at first, but the bottle warns that it will absorb and dry streak-free after the three hour developing time. It dries fast, no need to spin in circles waving your arms up and down just to dry enough to put clothes on. I'd recommend this product to anyone who doesn't have the time or inclination to sit out in the damaging sun this spring/summer.
