Genealogy & Me

I have had a major interest in genealogy since my dad told me stories about the family when I was a child.  I was born a HOGG. This is my Mom & Dad (aren't they a cute couple?).

In researching my family, I have uncovered thousands of direct family members, have traced my lineage back as far as Charlemagne, King of Franks ( I am his 28th generation great-granddaughter), and have well over 9000 members of my family tree traced (directly and indirectly related to me & each other).

I have also directly connected my family with four presidents, and I'm currently researching a connection to Britain's Royal Family. My family tree contains many celebrities & political figures.

If you have a connection to Charlemagne, please contact me, so I can see where our lines may connect! You may also want to join the Charlemagne Descendants group on Facebook and meet other descendants: Charlemagne's Descendants

There is also a Facebook fan page: Descendants of Charlemagne

We're all probably descended from Charlemagne and many others - 40 generations produces a lot of people on the family tree and the genepool was much smaller then.
