Iris Folding is a very simple craft. If you can fold a piece of paper in half, you can do Iris Folding. To me, it is like Origami for Dummies. The technique can be used in cardmaking, scrapbooking, or just to frame.
Here's What You'll Need
- Cardstock
- Papers in varying colors (tissue paper, origami paper, wrapping paper, mulberry paper, or other lightweight papers)
- Scissors (sharp) or craft knife
- Tape or Adhesive
- Removable Tape (I like Scotch double sided removable tape)
- Cutting mat

- I like this site because it shows two scrapbook page layouts that use iris folding as embellishments. Plus, you can see a great step-by-step tutorial of how to do the craft.
