C100 Espresso

I have loved cappuccino and other types of specialty coffees for as long as I can remember. Of course, whenever I go to a coffee house to purchase a cappuccino, I always seem to end up being disappointed. They usually have only one way to make their coffees and it was never the way that I like mine. Then I got a Nespresso Essenza C100 Espresso Machine and I can now enjoy a cappuccino just the way I like it any time I want. This machine is a single-serve, automatic espresso machine that has a one-touch Aeroccino milk frother so that it is really easy to use even for an amateur like me! 

The Nespresso Essenza C100 Espresso Machine is a great value at about $220. It works with a unique extraction system that is designed specifically for coffee-filled capsules so it makes the perfect cup of espresso every time. The two features that were most important to me in an espresso machine were low cost and ease of use and I got both of them in a great machine. It features a 19-bar pump that fully extracts the aroma of the coffee and adds body to the espresso so that it always has a smooth crema, the part that makes a creamy layer on top of the coffee.  

The milk frother on the Nespresso Essenza C100 Espresso Machine has an automatic shut-off and froths 4-2/5 ounces of milk or heats up 8-1/2 ounces of milk. That makes it great for fixing cappuccinos, café lattes and other coffees with milk. It's so easy to use, too. I just add milk, replace the lid, and press the button. I get froth in about fifty seconds or hot milk in about eighty seconds. If you are a little less than graceful like I am, the stay-cool handle, drip-free spout, and cordless design help you pour gracefully.  

In addition to its easy operation and incredible price, the Nespresso Essenza C100 Espresso Machine is a great looking espresso machine, too. It also has a removeable water tank and it ejects used capsules into the capsule container where it stores up to fourteen before you have to empty it. Terrific little machine, April 27, 2010

I'm in love with this machine. It's simple, fast, compact and makes top notch espresso. I was worried it wouldn't be as good as my favorite espresso stand because it sounded just too simple, too automated, but I'm delighted to say it is even better than what I've been purchasing from the baristas. The frother is a dynamo, too. Both are simple, fast, easy to clean and really good at what they do. It's a brainless part of my morning routine now and I'm dizzy with satisfaction. I figure it's a smart investment, too. With not needing to purchase my lattes anymore I'll make my ROI in just a matter of months, even including the cost of the the espresso and shipping. It is a bit noisy, but it doesn't wake anyone and doesn't groan very long, so I couldn't care less. I do use distilled water in it, since it makes for a pure espresso and won't crust up the machine. It's great to be this happy with a purchase.

The Machine is great. Works well, relatively low maintenance.
The capsules can be only bought from Nespresso, however the cost is reasonable, approx 60 cents per capsule.
The aeroccino is marvelous, however mine broke down within 2 weeks, I called them and they replaced it under warranty.
Great buy, if you will use this to replace your coffee shop addiction it will pay for itself within a month or two!
