My dad is currently in the hospital dealing with a heart that can't be repaired and it's operating just enough to keep him going if he doesn't do anything. He's doing okay under the circumstances but the outlook for the future isn't great. But we'll all be okay and are happy for any time we are getting with him.
A quick update... as of 10/24 at 12:40am my Dad suddenly had a heart attack and he passed away. My mom and only brother were in the room as he died and I was on the phone with him. It was unexpected since he had actually had a good day that day. I had just asked him how he was feeling and he said fine and I then asked him if he was in any pain and he said no then he mumbled something and from my end sounded like he fell asleep - something. My dad was only 62 and there was nothing that could be done.
