Welcome to the Audio Cloth Lens

Showing t-shirt and hoodie designs as well as other related sites

Over the next few months, we're going to feature a favourite product or design, say 1 per fortnight and run that at a discount. If you've got a design you're interested in, let us know and we'll move it up the list so it gets featured earlier than originally planned.

Print-on-Demand Services

Well, I can't figure out which is better. So far Audio cloth use 3 online shops: Zazzle, Printfection and CafePress. See how the vote's going above for what the readers think is the best shop.

For a shop-keeper, they each have their own strengths and weaknesses.

CafePress has the marketplace which means you may make sales without doing much other than setting up your shop and creating your products properly (i.e. filling out tags, etc). The downsides to CafePress are the cost for a Premium Store (you can't do much with a basic store, although you can try to group several free basic stores together), the management of sections and the low commission on marketplace sales. Spam on the keywords is a problem. Too many images with every word imaginable are clogging up the searches.

Printfection is easier to maintain and get looking good, although I've found myself having to create small jpgs of each design to load into their sections. There seems to be less of a market-place presence but I like how easy it is to navigate. This is one to watch. Similar to CafePress, spam on keywording is an issue.

Zazzle seems to have everything. More products, more affiliate schemes, easy to make shops. But that also seems to be their problem. It's easy to get lost in the scale. Again, keyword spam is something of an issue.
