Submit your content to search engines
These are some links to well known and lesser known search engines. Most search engines do take approximatly 4-8 weeks before you will show up, so make sure you submit early.

- This link allows you to submit your url to google.
- MSN
- this link allows you to submit your url to MSN search
- Alta Vista/Yahoo!
- Alta Vista is now a division of Yahoo! this link allows you to submit to yahoo and give some information about other yahoo submission programs (some free some paid)
- All The Web/Yahoo!
- This is another site now run by Yahoo! there is no need to do so if you have already submitted to yahoo from another site.
- ISE.com
- this is an index of directories. I have not used it yet personally - however it was highly recommended by another cafepress shopkeeper.
- Add Me
- addme.com has a selection of free sites you can be added to in exchange for a link to thier site - it can help to bring some in - thier full list of submission has a fee but there is a group they will submit for free

- Craigs List
- online classiffieds & forums - be careful if you post your link in the forum you might get yelled at for spamming!!! and if you post a classified ad make sure you use pictures and include lots of information!! Each location you put an ad in your have to type it differently - you cannot place to same ad in multiple markets - also don't be upset if they pull your ads - some markets are picky and like to have your cassified removed - no big deal just post it in another city!!!
- Blogger / Blogtspot
- create a blog - cronical your adventure in shop owning - or life - or fun - or what ever you want to post - the more you put the more people willw ant to read - the more who read the more who come!!
- T-shirt directory
- a great place to post your items for easy exposure
- Froogle
- froogle is googles shopping center - and it is a great resource to get your items listed there - now this can be a daunting task until recently - i have to thank adam for making this awesome program Instant Cafe - available at http://www.instant-cafe.com/feeder/index.html - it will create a file for you to load into froogle - without all the hassle of making it yourself - for more information about instant cafe check out the thread on cafepress forums http://forums.cafepress.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/594104/m/11210099/p/1 - additionally to get the key you need to contact adam though that forum!!
once you use IC to creat the feed you can easily log into froogle and upload your whole feed & within 24 hours all of your items - not each design but each design on each product individually - will appear in froogle!!
Froogle listings last 30 days so once it is up for a month you can forget about it - then you just have to make a new feed once a month - or if you dont add new product just resubmit this feed (you may have to change the name of the file to resubmit) - Froogle Rocks!! - T-shirt Forum
- this site is great to chat with other t-shirt shops on and off cafepress - and posting here with your link in your signature (which is allowed if done within the rules) will get you search engine hits!! This site is found repeatedly by yahoo searches sending people shopping on my store!!
- Squidoo!!
- Make squidoo lenses (yes plural) do them about your shop about your life about something you love and then at the bottom add a cafepress section and label it "help keep this lens running" and then put a few of your items in there!! This is a great way to get your shop out there - and you get a portion of the affiliate back from squidoo!!!
What i like to do is i tag my items in CP with my own special tag - then i can place my tag there instead of individual items and the tag will rotated my designs as squidoo loads the lens!! - Webrings
- webrings are from the 90's but a lot of people still use them - sign up place the webring link at the bottom of your oage then join webrings relevent to your shop - people surf from one ring to the next linking to your store - becareful though - as of january you will only be able to join 5 free - so make sure they count!!
This has moved to the bottom of the list now that webrings is trying to charge people to be a member - you can still have a few webrings (they limit like 5 or something) - remember this causes a "leak" on your site!
t-shirt ranking sites
tshirt ranking sites are like classifieds where people get to rank how much they like or dont like your design - usually moving you up or down on the list
People are generally divied over whether or not they think tshirtranking sites are worth joining - so i will leave it up to you

- this site allows you to enter your design for free - see how you rank - this site requires a link back to thier site - so rememebr if you are heavy in affiliates this will be considered a leak
- CP Design rank
- this site is really easy - you just enter your shop name and email - and it loads everything for you - although mine keeps timing out on my shop - could be because i have over 3,000 designs on there - it did however submit a majority of them to the ranking - and i cheked - within 5 minutes more then 25 of my designs had already been ranked - so they are being seen!!
- TShirt Countdown
- this site lets you add your items to thier listing kind of like a ranked classified listing
- Living Moments Toplist
- the site lets you post your banner so people can rank your whole shop instead of individual designs
- Top 08 Gear
- This ranking site is ONLY POLITICAL GEAR - it allows you to post you shop banner so people can rank your shop
- Fun Tshirts top 100
- this site allows you to submit your banner - so the full shop can be ranked by banner
- Tshirtville.net
- This is a brand new T shirt ranking/listing site - it only has a few so far - which means everyone is still at the top of the list - it does require a link back from your shop in order to remain on the site - so it will be a leak if your an affiliate
