Unfortunately, this has really bad reviews. You actually don't need a special pan or special gadget to make cake pops. Traditional cake pops are made from crumbling a cake (so you just need a cake pan) and adding frosting to it and rolling up balls.
However, some people like this cake pops maker, which may make less sweet cake pops as you don't have to mix frosting into the balls.
