Cakes are definitely one of the most popular sweet treat. And there are lots of kinds of cakes. But if you want to learn how to bake a cake, you should start first by finding easy cake recipes.

I learned how to bake a cake when I was in high school. Yes, we had a baking class and there we learned how to bake simple cakes specifically flavored chiffon cakes.

Chiffon cakes are light flavored cake. Listed below are the chiffon cake recipes that we baked before. Choco Chiffon Cake, Orange Chiffon Cake and Mocha Chiffon Cake. Remember we were in high school when we baked these cakes, we had no baking background and yet we still manage to bake the cakes. It is easy to make, by following the simple steps I'm pretty sure nothing will go wrong.

Choco Chiffon Cake

Ingredients

2 cups cake flour

3 teaspoon baking powder

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup sugar (meringue)

1/2 cup diluted milk

1/2 cup oil

8 pieces eggs ( separate white from the yolk)

1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 cup cocoa powder

Procedures:

Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl except sugar for meringue and cream of tartar.

Make a well in the center of the mixed dry ingredients.

Add in oil, diluted milk, vanilla and egg yolks.

Combine egg whites and cream of tartar in a large bowl free from grease.

Pour egg yolk mixture into the steams over the entire surface of the meringue. Fold gently while turning the bowl around for sufficient blending

Pour into an ungreased pan lined with wax paper at the center.

Bake into a preheated 350 degrees fahrenheit oven for 60 mins or until done.

Invert immediately on the rack. Use a spatula to loosen the cake.

Cool it completely before adding icing/frosting and decorating
