Picking the Best Calendars for 2011

Choosing your favorite calendars for 2011 can be a fun task if you know what you want. There are so many different kinds to choose from that there really is a perfect calendar for everyone. This is true whether you are buying one for yourself or as a gift. Be sure that you buy your favorite, because it will be keeping you company for many days.

Many people love calendars with beautiful pictures that will lift their spirits. Others like to go for something humorous that will make them laugh. Whether you get one of cat photos or one that celebrates your favorite television show, a calendar is a good way to showcase your personal style while keeping track of the days.

When you are selecting a calendar, be sure to choose one that has plenty of space for you to write all of your appointments in. Many people find it is easier to keep track of their schedule with desk calendars. People who keep track of their schedules on their computers or smart phones might prefer to have a wall calendar to look at throughout the day. Finding the best calendars for 2011 is all a matter of figuring out your style.

Wall Calendars Versus Desk Calendars

dog calendarWhile a lot of people own both wall calendars and desk calendars, almost everyone has their favorite. Are you having trouble deciding which kind of 2011 calendar to get? Take a few moments to think about how you use your calendars. Desk calendars are great for work and for home offices. You'll always have them nearby when you need to add an appointment to your schedule and they are more private than wall calendars. With desk calendars you can choose a large one that covers your whole desk or a small day-to-day calendar that sits in the corner.

But wall calendars have good points as well. While day-to-day calendars can be funny, wall calendars are the only choice if you want a landscape photograph or drawings by your favorite artists. Although you might not be able to fit your whole to-do list on a date, there is plenty of space to pencil in doctor appointments and dance recitals on the 2011 calendar. And the best thing about these are that they can cheer up an otherwise unadorned wall. You can hang them in the kitchen, the family room, the bedroom, or the home office. If you have a problem with desks getting cluttered, you'll definitely appreciate wall calendars.

Humorous Calendars, Pop Culture Calendars, Animal Calendars and More!

The calendar for 2011 you choose says a lot about you. Here are some of the most popular categories of calendars.

Humorous Calendars: You know that laughing is the best way to start every day. There are lots of joke-a-day calendars that can make Monday seem a lot more bearable.

Animal Calendars: Sure, you probably have pets at home, but there is something about an adorable puppy or kitty that seems to put everything in perspective. Dog breed calendars are always a hit and allow you to show your love of beagles or labs.

Pop Culture Calendars: If you consider yourself a big fan of a television show, movie, singer, or actor, you'll probably want to get a pop culture calendar to hang on your wall or put on your desk. With subjects ranging from Justin Bieber to Star Trek and Glee to John Wayne, these appeal to kids, teens, and adults.

Art Calendars: If you want to hang a calendar in your home but don't want it to clash with your décor, consider getting an art calendar. These may feature the work of classic artists or people more contemporary. While reproductions of famous paintings are popular, photography calendars, such as those from Ansel Adams, are also a good choice for your calendar for 2011.

My business would absolutely suffer without by HUGE daily planning calendar. I use it for everything.

I use a simple 1 month to page calendar to log IM sales/income every day, and a two page to a month display calendar for my daily work at home "To Do" planning.

I find that I already overbook myself with one tiny box to write in per day, so if I allow myself a whole diary page I go crazy trying to do it all!

Thumbs up and Like from me, hope your lens does well for you.
