Following California Green Party Politics

California is the West Coast home of Green Party politics. Green Party locals had already been formed, but the current state Green Party, the Green Party of California, was founded in February of 1990, with its first meeting at the California State campus in Sacramento. 95 people were in attendance. The party has grown significantly since then, becoming a major force in local politics, emerging into congressional and presidential elections.
