We met and fell in love with several supporting characters through the seasons. Some only featured in single seasons, but some came back later. Which season 5 characters would you most like to see come back in Californication season 6?
Maggie Grace to feature in Season 6
Maggie Grace has landed a major role in the season 6 of Californication.Grace has secured the role of "Faith," a character with nine-episode arc next year. She will play a muse/groupie to famous rock stars on the show. "Faith has been on the road with various bands for years and is considered a muse to elite artists," reads the character description. "Though she has a fondness for sex, drugs and rock and roll, she remains quite religious. She meets and becomes friends with Hank Moody [David Duchovny] and eventually, that friendship blossoms into more."
We remember Maggie from "Lost" and will get to know her even better as she appears in the upcoming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.

- I hope Maggie gets those puppies out. Although I spent all of season 4 waiting for his lawyer to show the goods and that didn't happen.

- Well he obviously survives and the latest filming for season 6 in NY shows him with Carrie wtf? Have heard that it will be based in NY and involve a stage play of Hank's book. I hope it moves back to California seeing as the series is called Californication - somehow doesn't if based in NY.

- Yeah agree with you there, it has always been like them moving in to another place and freaky stuff happening and breakups and Moody making it worse, I think it would be awesome to have a homosexual Richard Bates and then Samurai Apacolypse still in the show and some more drama and comedy from their side, I've seen enough of Moody's life being screwed up all those seasons, and if this is going to be the last, lets see Moody getting married once again!

- Califonication is the best, but I wish each episode was a full hour like it was in the past seasons. Half an hour goes by quckly.

- I totally agree. Season five was epic, and went back to its roots of season 1. Hank was pretty much always in the right, and made way better choices. He kept thinking of others instead of himself. LOVE THIS SHOW!

Californication recap
The show features a best-selling author and a full time womanizer Hank Moody. Although the term womanizer might suggest he's a shallow man, he's so much more than that. A loving father, a loving ex-husband and an amazing friend are just a few expressions that determine him. A funny cynic? Yes, that's the expression I was looking for. Hilarious in his melancholy.
I'm already looking forward for him to continue entertaining us in Californication season 6.
Being a bestselling author, life has been easy for Hank. At least financially. His love life, on the other hand, has seen its share of ups and downs. He knows who the love of his life is, he just has a hard time staying faithful to Karen, his ex wife. They broke up and patched things up quite a few times during the first 4 season, while in the beginning of the fifth season (with a small time shift), we realise she got married to another man. We will see what Californication season 6 brings in the love department.
There is also the love he has for her daughter, Becca. This one is limitless, he would do pretty much anything for her daughter. She is a pretty cool and laid back teenage girl and in season 5 she gives Hank a taste of his own medicine, when she starts dating a younger copy of her father. But while we learned to love Hank despite all his shortcomings, we can't say the same for Tyler. And I'm not just saying we don't like him, I have proof. If you scroll a bit towards the top, you will see a poll with fans voting on who they would like to see in season 6. Tyler is the least wanted character.
So, the fifth season ended with a cliffhanger which I am not about to write about, because there might be readers that haven't seen the complete season 5 yet and I would just spoil the fun for them. But for the rest of us - wow, what a way to leave us hanging!
