Two Clubs to Improve Your Golf Game: Callaway and Medicus Irons
I started this page on Squidoo with the intention of introducing some of the finer Callaway irons to improve your golf game, but partway through I realized I would be remiss to leave out another power iron that helped me improve my game dramatically - so you'll see some of the Medicus irons interspersed in here as well. Please keep in mind while I pass on my recommendations, that I'm not a golf pro, I don't work at a course or shop and all I am passing on here is my own opinion and recommendation.
I like both the Callaway VFT irons and the Medicus to practice and play a round with. I've been shopping around looking for some good pre-owned Callaway irons to gift my friends with before our next get-together.
There are fewer of these than any other used. I take that as a good sign especially during a recession period - obviously others are loving the Callaway VFT so much they wouldn't think of parting with theirs. However I found a few on Amazon and I like this option best.
Your investment is protected when shopping on the site in a way that makes buying used not quite as worrisome.
I can't say how long this will be available, but you can try. Here's one set - Callaway Titanium Irons with Graphite, if the image is still showing when you visit, then it may still be available for sale when you click it.

Are Callaway VFTs for You?
While Callaway offers products that could be used by the most professional of golfers, they also have quite a few that are more geared towards beginners. You can use some of these specially designed clubs or club sets to familiarize yourself with the game and become very proficient with your strokes. This will allow you to become an excellent player before you even begin to spend huge amounts of money on your items. Some of the best items include the adjustable golf clubs, or the half-set that leaves you with just the basic choices to familiarize yourself with. Look for these products are your local club store, or in an online Callaway catalog.
Callaway's product line doesn't end at golf clubs. Everything else you need for the game, you will have the option of buying through Callaway. This includes golf apparel, which everyone knows is a must-have when you are going to spend a day on the course. Golf shoes are the best for moving across the grass that makes up the ground of the golf courses, and other golf apparel such as hats and shirts will protect you from the brutal elements involved in the game. If you are an easily sunburned person, then you should find the proper shading and protection in order to avoid having your skin burned while you play.
As with any company, Callaway sells a large range of golfing products. Whether you are a beginner or an expert or somewhere in between, you will be able to find a product that works for you. Figure out what exactly you are looking for out of a golf club set, and bring these requirements with you when you go shopping. This will help you to buy exactly what you want faster.

Callaway Irons, Medicus Training Clubs or Tours
When available you will see some videos on the topics of Callaway clubs, Medicus training clubs or Callaway tours. They are inspirational, entertaining and educational. I hope you enjoy them and they help you improve your game. It seems the more you know about golf strategies the more you want to know and in the end, the better your game will be.
How I Discovered Medicus Clubs
re: Medicus - Medicus Dual Hinge 7 IronI was surfing around last year looking for some tips to improve my golf game. I'm a little proud and a lot competitive and I wanted to get better, fast. I needed something that was guaranteed to work as long as I put in an effort. Then I found Medicus. The company creates golf game and training aids that have been used by over 1,000,000 amateur golfers and 1,000s of professionals worldwide.
The practice driver I chose is pictured above. It is the Medicus Dual-Hinge Driver and it is the #1 swing trainer club. The patented designs are unique in that they'll only 'break' when your swing is off. Using it will give you instant feedback on your practice swings.
Lose your slice and hit longer, straighter shots. Spend some time training with this and once you can swing the club without breaking it you will be swinging both in tempo and on plane.
Top Tip for New Golfers
Want to improve your game? Practice your posture and your grip. You can get a coach or practice in front of a mirror for some immediate help with your posture. Posture plus grip are the two determining factors in how high the ball is hit and soars. Bad golfing posture lowers performance. As for tips on your grip, practice the two that all professional golfers use. The overlapped grip (your hands are overlapping each other), and the interlocking grip (your fingers on your lower hand interlocks with the fingers of your upper hand). Practice your swing with both styles regularly.
New Golfers Learn Grip and Control
If you're shopping for Callaway VFT Irons you probably aren't a beginner, but...
When you start to golf the first thing you want to learn is how to grip the club correctly. Your grip quickly determines the path of the golf ball and whether you end up slicing or hooking the ball. Once you get that oh-so-perfect grip, you immediately see straighter ball flights and are on your way to understanding the rest of the game and clubs. Getting this right could take months which is one of the reason I really love my Medicus club.
So how do you get that perfect grip every time? I'd love to show you, tell you, how, but the truth is, for everyone the grip is different. In fact if you were to line up 100 golfers you'd see variations in grips across the course. That doesn't mean you shouldn't watch experienced golfers carefully or shy away from other's advice, but you should know that no one can tell you exactly the right way for YOU to grip that club. There is no perfect golf grip although many golfers have similar styles.
Once you've mastered that grip, you'll want to cure and control your slice. It has been said that eighty percent of beginner golfers will slice the golf ball most of the time. It may not bother you the first few times on the course, but eventually you'll find that slice to be frustrating and humiliating.
I just found this discount store for pre-owned Callaway clubs that I thought might interest you.
