Your tension, irritability, and anxiety, are all symptoms that your brain is deficient in its mood-enhancing chemicals. Something has interfered with your body's ability to produce its own natural brain drugs. This may be caused by prolonged stress or inherited deficiencies. Here are some natural supplements which can help you improve your mood without the unwanted side effects of prescription medicines.

Flaxseeds, Inositol, Shankhpushpi, and L-Tyrosine

1. Flaxseed has a mood boosting ingredient called docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) that is essential for the proper function of brain cells. Early research shows that a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids like Flaxseed is believed to be important for brain development. Persons suffering from mood disorders such as depression benefit from flaxseed oil. The lack of omega 3 fatty acids (DHA) has been linked by researchers to depression.
For the full benefits of flaxseeds: mix 2 to 3 Tbsp in yogurt or cereal, but be sure the seeds are ground, that's how the effects are released.

2. Use Inositol to prevent panic attacks. One report shows this B-vitamin is just as effective at reducing feelings of panic as the anti-anxiety drug fluvoxamine. Research shows inositol works by regulating levels of serotonin, the feel-good chemical within nerve cells. Start with 500mg daily.

3. Use shankhpushpi to slash stress hormones. This white-flowered plant has been used by herbalists for centuries to quiet symptoms of anxiety by increasing relaxation and improving mood. It quiets heart palpitations and nervousness. Shankhpushpi lowers levels of cortisol, the stress hormone which increases blood pressure and blood sugar levels which contributes to anxiety. A calming dose is 275mg daily.

4. Before eating breakfast, try taking 1,500 mg of L-tyrosine. This amino acid helps your body produce the feel-good chemical dopamine which boosts your mood and increases focus and alertness.

5. Scientists believe ashwagandha, an Indian herb can make GABA, the calming brain chemical work more effectively. Ashwagandha acts to calm the mind and promote restful sleep. It has also been used to boost the immune system, improve memory, and to promote overall wellness. A calming dose is up to 200mg three times a day.

6. SAMe is a synthetic form of an essential amino acid. SAMe may enhance the impact of mood-boosting messengers such as serotonin and dopamine. It has been theorized that SAMe increases the availability of the neurotransmitters serotonin and dopamine. SAMe has also been used to relieve arthritis and relieve liver damage.

7.L-glutamine, an amino acid available in protein foods or as a supplement, serves many critical purposes. It stabilizes our mental functioning, keeps us calm yet alert, and promotes good digestion. L-glutamine reaches the starving brain within minutes and can often immediately put a stop to powerful sweet and starch cravings.

Remember it's important to check with your doctor first before starting a new supplement.

This looks absolutely perfect. All these tinny details are made with lot of background knowledge. I like it a lot. This was a useful post and I think it is rather easy to see from the other comments as well that this post is well written and useful. .Cradle Plans
