Watermelon has a lovely taste, chilled in the fridge
it is irresistible
I love watermelon in the Summer, but also in winter it is a very nice way to start the day, or to finish your meal. I make watermelon juice, and I cut it into little cubes, as a little nibble when I am hungry in between meals. My kids also love it, and it is healthy and low calory; yet in the meantime with plenty vitamins and minerals. The Most Important Thing

Surviving the hungry spells - Horses have the same logic
I have my little hungry spells during the day. I really try to only eat three meals per day, because I know that way I will not store extra fat I don't need. You know when I found out that our body works that way? I had a horse; no, don't laugh! She was very thin, and I fed her nuts once a day. All the other horses would just eat grass and the natural herbs in the very big paddocks, and be fat, shiny and healthy, but she somehow needed some extra energy. After a while I found out that she would become fatter very fast when I divided the nuts into 6 meals per day. WATERMELON!

Apart from three healthy meals per day...
Now, when I want to lose weight, i make sure that I eat only three healthy meals per day, and that the little in-betweens are really very low in calories. Watermelon is an excellent choice for me, it is tasty, and it also provides liquid. It is important that our intake of liquids is high enough!So I chuck in the watermelon in my little nibbles between meals, and I discovered that exercising really works.
