Camden Town is a district of Inner London in North West London, England, and the central neighbourhood of the London Borough of Camden. In recent years, entertainment-related businesses and a Holiday Inn have moved into the area. A number of retail and food chain outlets have replaced independent shops driven out by high rents and redevelopment. Camden Town became part of the London borough of Camden in 1965 upon the borough's creation, but was previously in Metropolitan borough of St Pancras. The area is part of the Holborn and St Pancras constituency. Camden is one of the places known for its markets, it is veryclose the the centre of london and is just norht of very posh areas such as Marylebone and west of Islington and Holloway to the north of Camden is a town called Kentish Town.
