Camping is an outdoor activity, and as such you'll need to travel to a different area usually called a campsite.

If you are planning a camping holiday, there are lots of things you will need to do before you travel for your camping.

You will need camping shelter, you will need to know how to pitch your tent; you will need to buy camping equipments, how about camping activities, health and safety issues on the campsite. And many other camping topics.

You will need a tent, motorhome or caravan to live on a campsite.

Although in many parts of the world, camping is associated with the use of a tent. So, i am going to refer to camping as the use of a tent.

If you decide to camp out, you will need to plan for places of interest you'll like to visit while camping, your days out might include a visit to the park or museum.

camp locationThere are many places people can pitch their camping tent, but the most useful ones are the national parks, other publicly owned campgrounds; there are even privately owned campgrounds.

Your reason for holiday camping will determine the location of your campsite. If the reason for your holiday camping is for sightseeing, then your campsite should be closer to the city's historic buildings.

On the other hand, some people holiday camping because of a special event happening in a particular country or city, for example, sport event or festival.

There are now camping clubs that you can join with your family and friends. One of the benefits of camping club is that you can meet different people, also you can participate in different activities while at the same time making new friends and exchanging ideas and knowledge.
