Disney's Camp Rock Movie
this summer? The latest hit movie from Disney Channel the movie stars teen pop sensations the Jonas Brothers and introduces Demi Lovato for her first lead role in a movie.Mitchie Torres has an amazing voice - and would love to go to Camp Rock. But unfortunately the camp fees are out of the reach of her family. But her mom finds the solution when she gets a job as a Camp Rock cook.
Mitchie soon makes friends but can she keep up the act of living a double life and hiding from who she really is? She does not want her new friend Caitlyn (Alyson Stoner) and the talented Tess Tyler (Meaghan Jette Martin) and her friends Peggy (Jasmine Richards) and Ella (Anna Maria Perez de Tagle)to know that she is the cooks daughter.
Mitchie's life gets even more complicated when pop star camp intstructor Shane Gray ( Joe Jonas) hears her singing - but does not see her face. Shane is amazed by her beautiful voice and tries to find out her true identity.
The Camp Rock movie averaged 8.9 million viewers on the night of its premiere, making it the second highest viewed Disney Channel original movie of all time behind High School Musical 2.

She is a singer and songwriter as well as a musician, playing guitar and piano since the age of eleven. Her good friends, the Jonas Brothers, have also written songs along with Lovato for her debut album
Demi Lovato will be opening for the Jonas Brothers on their summer 2008 Burning Up tour.
Demi Lovato is pretty busy! She is filming a Disney movie called the Princess Protection Program with her friend Selena Gomez. She will soon be starring in a new Disney Channel Original Series called Welcome to Mollywood that begins production in September 2008
