Camping Supplies Checklist

OK, so where do you start with your camping supplies checklist?? Well, you start with what you have. If you are regular campers, you will probably have most of the stuff you need. If you are new to camping, it may be necessary to buy a few things.

Now you start making a list of what you think you may need. Start with your tent and the stuff you need for sleeping. Nice warm sleeping bags if it is going to be cold. Maybe extra blankets.

The trip I mentioned, we had sleeping bags, but an unexpected cold made that they were not enough. The one extra blanket we had I put over Anabel, and the rest of us nearly froze to death, in summer, in the hot Northern Province of South Africa!

So make sure you are warm. Sleeping so cold is no fun, believe me. Space or not! From now on I'm making sure i have enough warm bedding if my sleeping bag is not warm enough!

Another important part of your Camping Supplies Checklist is the food. You do not want to take a whole lot of unnecessary groceries, but you do want to have all you will need.

I have to admit; I usually take too much and end up having to lug them all back home! Not to speak of the waste of stuff that cannot keep long enough.
